To verify which version of the syscard3.pce file you have, perform the following:Ĭreate a folder in your Root directory (C:\), call it something simple like "hash" (C:\hash). This has been identified as "containing a 512-byte copier header" and thus will not work. ![]() The wrong MD5 checksum is: ff1a674273fe3540ccef576376407d1d.īy far, the most common version of syscard3.pce produces the "wrong" checksum. File syscard3.pce (also called: " Super CD-ROM System (Japan) (v3.0).pce") is the last BIOS developed for the system and should be the key to playing all TG/PCE games. This is the recommended BIOS to use with almost every TG/PCE emulator as most (all?) are based on Mednafen. As I did not find a single place to provide what is needed to understand and fix the problem, I felt compelled to place my first post. Thank you all and thank you for the patience once again.I wanted to post a solution to an obscure problem that occurs frequently when attempting to play TG/PCE CD ROMs (non-CD ROMs can use various BIOS with mixed success)*. The game to be tested is: Ginga Fukei Densetsu - Sapphire (NTSC-J), do not forget! Who can help me, see if these games run on their recalbox and report the following: <- This had the same problem that I am having being with other games and did not see how it was solved. Which is the indicated BIOS version displays your BIOS screenĪnd loading the game appears NOW NOW LOADING and returns to the ES. (You can do the test here: )Įven if I changed the BIOS for the ones I downloaded and the games were still not working, I decided to test the 2.0 and 1.0 versions of the BIOS.Īnd loading the game appears NOW LOADING IN THE GAME and returns to the ES.Īnd loading the game appears this image I believe it is to put the supercard, or something like (I do not understand anything Japanese) ![]() I checked the md5 of the syscard3.pce BIOS file its MD5 is ff1a674273fe3540ccef576376407d1d and is OK. Ginga_Fukei_Densetsu_-_Sapphire_(NTSC-J)_.iso renamed Saphire.iso Since she suspects the BIOS now, since all other games work except these two. I found it to be a problem with the ISO file, I checked the CUE files, I downloaded these games on several sites, I opened an issue in github and in the end helped me and sent me the ISO that I had and it's the same as I have and anyway did not work. I'm having serious issues with Ginga Fukei Densetsu - Sapphire (NTSC-J), and Super Daisenryaku (NTSC-J) and they just do not work. ![]()
